First post!

 HEY! omg this is so exciting, my first blog post! 

I guess I'll start off by introducing myself. My name is Coco Haenlin, and I'm a senior in high school! I just got into my DREAM school, UVM, and I'm so excited! A couple things i'm into: 

1. Listening to music! I'm always listening to music. My AirPods are like a part of my body now. My favorite artists that I'm listening to right now are Fleetwood Mac, Blood Orange, and Sade. 

2. Reading! I absolutely love reading, and it's the best feeling when you get so lost in a book, that the outside world fades away. I'm currently in the middle of 2 books right now, Cleopatra and Frankenstein by Coco Mellors (name twins I know lol), and My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottesa Moshfeg. My all-time favorite book has got to be The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I think I've read it 4 or 5 times at this point.

3. Cooking! I adore cooking. I find it incredibly soothing and fun. One of the main reasons I love it so much is because my Mamie taught me how to cook. She's French, so she's an amazing cook, and her house always smells amazing! I recently made a Galette with a Beet and Goat Cheese mousse, and it was incredible! I developed the recipe on my own, and I think next time it needs some kind of contrasting taste, but i'm not sure what that is yet. 

4. Writing! I looooove writing, and I try to write as much as I can, but it's a little difficult squeezing it into my schedule with school and work. 

What you can expect from this blog:

- Lots of random thoughts, ideas, opinions, Etc. 

- music recommendations! Im planning on linking a couple of my favorite songs ATM in each post! 

- movie talk and recommendations
